Data Sources
All gold and silver rates are sourced from:
- IBJA (India Bullion & Jewellers Association): Official gold rates for the domestic Indian market — the industry standard used by jewellers across India.
- MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange of India): Silver rates sourced from India's primary commodity exchange for precious metals.
Gold rates are updated twice daily at approximately 12:05 PM and 5:05 PM IST, in line with IBJA's official release schedule. Silver rates reflect MCX trading prices.
Accuracy & Reliability
While we strive for 100% accuracy, please note:
- Rates displayed are indicative and may vary by city, jeweller, and exact purity
- Making charges are estimates — actual charges vary by design and jeweller
- We are not responsible for discrepancies between our displayed rates and what jewellers quote
- Always verify prices with your jeweller before making a purchase
